  5. The YouTube video doesn’t explain each module and it’s position. Also, the “module_positions” image isn’t specific for this template, it’s a generic image for an unrelated template. Specifically, which modules are supposed to be in which positions?

  6. I see it now – i set “Display format” to “Plain”.
    But now i can’t change size of textarea for the message. There is no “default_form.php” in folder “templates/malita-fjt/html/com_contact/contact”

  8. Google analytics not working!
    I made some change to make it work. Don’t try this unless you have experience with script these kinds of things.

    1. Copy the contents of analytics.js into a new file named analytics.php and put in the same folder as analytics.js which is the malita-fjt/modules folder.

    2. Change the the following line in analytics.php from _gaq.push([‘_setAccount’, ”]); to _gaq.push([‘_setAccount’, ”]); and add “” as the first line in analytics.php

    3. Edit req_css.php in the malita-fjt/modules folder
    find /modules/analytics.js; ?> and change it to /modules/analytics.php?ga=

    Now your Google Analytics will work when you turn it on in the template from the joomla administration.

    Your analytics.php file should look like this when you are done.

    var _gaq = _gaq || [];
    _gaq.push([‘_setAccount’, ”]);
    _gaq.push([‘_trackPageview’]);
    (function() {
    var ga = document.createElement(‘script’); ga.type = ‘text/javascript’; ga.async = true;
    ga.src = (‘https:’ == document.location.protocol ? ‘https://ssl’ : ‘http://www’) + ‘.google-analytics.com/ga.js’;
    var s = document.getElementsByTagName(‘script’)[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s);
    })();

  9. Hi,

    How do I use the sidetabs? I want to place newsfeeds or article links in them and change the names from News1, News2 and News3.

    Thanks

  10. Downloaded/installed Malita template according to the video instructions. In the Module manager there are three modules: breadcrumbs, main menu, login form, NOTHING else. Removed Joomla and malita, installed both again, same result.
    Until now no help from Joomla Templates.

    Any advise is very much appreciated.

    Kindest regards, leo

  11. Hi,
    I have tried using a few of your templates and in all of them the content just won’t display the way it’s supposed to. The tables are visible for some reason although I defined them to have no border, the contact form is completely messed up! I’m not exactly sure how to fix it and I don’t really want to mess with the code if I might ruin anything. Please tell me what should I do and also how to replace and add slides to the slideshow??

  13. Thank you AmourSpirit.

    Your information and moving it:

    params->get( ‘analyticsdisable’ )) : ?>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="baseurl ?>/templates/template ?>/modules/analytics.php?ga=”>

    to the end of the file: “req_css.php” helps!

  14. With the iFreedom template, some (not all) blogs of content category are not displayed as they should on the central position of the template. They are displayed with a grey background as if they would be outside the template frame, and the right column is placed under the blog, instead of beside it, alos with grey background.
    Some other categories are displayed without problem, but I don’t see any difference in the menu settings or in the category settings which could explain this problem. I tried it with the GameOn template: same problem. Any clue ? Many thanks
